Hi guys! As we're going into the colder months, a whole array of skincare issues are coming along with that wind, rain and plummeting temperatures. Goodbye summer glow and hello dry skin! Thankfully, today I have a couple of products to share with you all that should help you out with these exact issues - the Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum and the Nourish Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm.

Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum and Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm
Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum and Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm

The Nourish Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum is a Vitamin C serum to hydrate and repair the skin whilst helping to retain that long-lost summer glow. I have reviewed one of the Nourish Peptide Serum's before (the Nourish Radiance Rejuvenating Peptide Serum) and all of their Peptide Serum range does have ingredient similarities with their unique extra benefits. This one in particular contains the range's signature tripeptides for collagen production, hyaluronic acid for that shot of super-hydration and antioxidant Vitamin C derived from lemon, mandarin and orange essential oils to help to protect against free radicals.

The Nourish Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm is everything that you could ever need in one. It cleanses the skin, decongests pores, can act as a deeply nourishing face mask and can even be used as an intensive moisturiser. It contains a blend of plant based oils (macadamia, jojoba, coconut, rosehip, kale, sunflower, pumpkin, tea, geranium, borage, ginger, rosemary and sesame) that work together to melt away impurities, refine, nourish, moisturise and also to protect against free radical damage.

As with all other Nourish products, both the Protect Replenishing Peptide Serum and Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Beauty Balm are vegan, cruelty free and made with natural, organic ingredients.

O'Keeffe's Skin Repair Body Lotion, Working Hands Hand Cream, Healthy Feet Foot Cream, Cooling Relief Lip Repair and Lip Repair reviews

*
Hey guys! Winter skin getting you down? Fed up of rough hands? Cracked, dry lips? Eczema? Hard, dry skin on your feet? Don’t worry. Today’s post is here to help you with all of the above.

O'Keeffe's Skin Repair Body Lotion, Healthy Feet Foot Cream, Working Hands Hand Cream and Unscented Lip Repair and Protect Lip Balm
O'Keeffe's Skin Repair Body Lotion, Healthy Feet Foot Cream, Working Hands Hand Cream and Unscented Lip Repair and Protect Lip Balm

O’Keeffe’s provide a whole range of body care products that are designed to solve a collection of skincare issues. They have lip balms to heal up extremely dry and cracked lips, a foot cream to heal and moisturise hard skin on the feet, a hand cream to banish the rough and painful skin on your hands and a body lotion to conquer eczema, itching skin and extra dry patches. All of this at nice and affordable prices. Sounds great, right?

They started creating these products back in 1990 when Tara O’Keeffe saw the discomfort her father, Bill O'Keeffe, was in with his dry skin that was caused by rigorous, hard work. She managed to use her skills as a pharmacist alongside her father’s help to create a cream that worked for him, and this became the Working Hands Hand Cream reviewed here today.

From there, they went on to include the rest of the range of products that will be shown in this post over the years.

They’re all packaged in brightly coloured bottles, a different colour for each product and some of the products are available in different sizes.

NAVI Revitalising Hydro-Night Cream and Pore-Refining Hydro-Emulsion reviews

*
Hey guys! Skin can be funny, can’t it? Some are lucky to not suffer with many issues, others can be struck down with dry skin, wrinkles, acne, oily skin, dark spots, and so on. Yes, there are lots of products on the market to combat different issues, but wouldn’t it be handier if there were more products that just dealt with most in one hit? Some hard-working skincare. Well, if that is what you’re after, today’s products may be of interest to you.

Today I’ll be reviewing two products by NAVI by Doris Wagner; the Revitalising Hydro-Night Cream and Pore-Refining Hydro-Emulsion. I'll go into a brief description of both products below, but then will split the review in half and review them individually. I will also go into more detail regarding the ingredients in the separate halves. I'll also discuss things about the pair of products together at the end of the post, as well as things such as the packaging and where to purchase.

The NAVI Revitalising Hydro-Night Cream comes packed with 8 plant extracts and is designed to hydrate the skin, refine skin texture, prevent acne and lighten the skin tone whilst you sleep. It is a gel-cream formula that works gradually, and best results come after around 3 weeks of use.

The NAVI Pore-Refining Hydro-Emulsion is a cream that is designed to reduce the visibility of pores, hydrate the skin, mattify the skin, prevent acne, improve skin texture and lighten the skin tone. It can be used as often as you like throughout the day to keep the skin looking refined.

E45 Daily Lotion Spray review

Hey guys! Do you ever get dry, itchy skin? Flaky skin? Eczema prone? Looking for a product to get rid of your eczema or dry areas but prefer to put minimal effort into your skincare routine? No fear! This post is for you.

E45 Daily Lotion Spray
E45 Daily Lotion Spray

Of course, it’s not just for those with drier skin. Even if you just want a low maintenance body care product to incorporate into your routine, this post is also for you.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the brand E45, especially if you do have dry skin. They’re a great brand for eczema sufferers, and recently they released a new body moisturiser in the form of a spray: the E45 Daily Lotion Spray. This product also comes in an intensive version, but today I shall just be reviewing the Daily Lotion Spray.

E45 explain that this is their trusted formula, but in a fast-absorbing spray for quick application. It contains no added colours or fragrances, is suitable for dry and sensitive skin and is dermatologically tested. It promises 24 hour moisture with a non-greasy formula.

So what’s the difference? What is it for? Well, instead of having to either pump or squeeze lotion from a bottle, with this you simply get to spray it onto the skin, massage in and go. It’s so minimum fuss and effort and really helps to attract those who just either don’t have time or don’t have the effort to give their body care routine any thought.

Of course that’s not the only reason you may want to try a spray version. I bought this for my daughter to try as well as myself as my little girl gets terrible eczema that really flares up in the warmer weather. Sometimes she doesn’t like having a regular cream applied either, and she will pull her legs away or run away and so on, so something a bit different to get her to cooperate is sometimes a plus.

It comes packaged in a white spray can in the same style and design as other E45 products, except it looks more like a deodorant than a moisturiser, so make sure that you remember which is which!

Monu Skin Hydrating Mask review

Hi everyone! I've focused a few posts now on winter essentials to help us all get through the colder days, and today I'll be taking a look at one more item. This one is probably best for those who suffer with dry skin whose skin may be in desperate need of hydration and moisture, but it can be used by all skin types. So even the oily skinned folks out there (like myself) can still find something they may like within this review.

Monu Skin Hydrating Mask
Monu Skin Hydrating Mask

The Monu Skin Hydrating Mask is a creamy, non-setting mask that is designed to hydrate even the driest of skin. It contains a blend of evening primrose oil, royal jelly, geranium essential oil, kaolin clay and horsetail extract to soothe, hydrate, retain moisture, cleanse, firm, tighten and aids in the healing of broken skin. Oof, that's a lot, huh!? It also sounds exactly like the type of thing we all need during this time of year.

Monu Skin recommend using this between 1-3 times a week depending on skin type. It can also be used on the hands as a nourishing, hydrating way to replenish super dry hands.

It comes packaged in a 100ml, white and pink tube and the mask itself is white and creamy in texture with a light floral scent.

Weleda Skin Food review

Heeeey guys! Over the last couple of posts I've been focusing on winter essentials, and the product I'm looking at today is probably the one that best fits that theme for sure. What's the one thing that really drives everyone mad in winter? Dry, cracked skin. I was originally going to be posting about something else today, but last night I was talking to my boyfriend about how amazing this cream is and I realised that I hadn’t even reviewed it yet and I was so amazed because, like I just said, it fits the bill so perfectly. Today I'm rectifying that.

Weleda Skin Food
Weleda Skin Food

If you haven't heard of it, Weleda's Skin Food cream is a certified natural moisturiser that is designed to soothe and heal dry skin all over the body. Your face, elbows, hands, everywhere. It contains calendula, chamomile and viola tricolour extracts within a blend of beeswax and nourishing oils such as sweet almond and sunflower oils. On top of that, it also contains lanolin which is a wonder ingredient that I took a more in depth look at in the first winter essentials post by featuring the Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips.

It comes packaged in a green squeezy tube with a white screw cap lid and comes in two different sizes: 30ml and 75ml. The product itself is a thick, off white cream with a strong, herby shampoo type of smell to it.

Omorovicza Refining Facial Polish review

During the summer, there are certain things that you just don't want to do. Heavy makeup is one of those things. It's just too much, but sometimes some people may feel more insecure about the condition of their skin. Because of that, I'm going to focus some posts on my own personal beauty motto: perfect the base and the rest will follow. It also continues on with the same sort of theme of my last post about eradicating shaving rash and ingrown hairs to help reduce insecurity, but in this post we're going to be looking at the face and creating the bright, clear, fresh base to help you feel more comfortable and confident to strip back the makeup.

Omorovicza Refining Facial Polish
Omorovicza Refining Facial Polish

When it comes to facial exfoliators, there are two types: a scrub and a liquid, chemical exfoliator. The Omorovicza Refining Facial Polish is a gentle face scrub that is also a peel. It’s like the best of both worlds, but at the same time it is also the texture of a cream. It contains Hungarian Moor Mud from a thermal lake just outside Budapest which is rich in minerals, as well as lava stone to remove dead skin cells, but as it is so gentle it is suitable to use even on sensitive skin. It also contains Lactobionic Acid which acts like glycolic acid, minus the irritation, and Exotic Fruit acids to plump the skin for a more youthful appearance.

If that wasn’t enough, it is also enriched with Hungarian Thermal Water,  Omorovicza’s patented Hydro Mineral Transference delivery system (which helps the thermal water to be absorbed into the skin to maximise its benefits), micro-algae for radiance and Cooper Gluconate as an astringent and to control sebum. So, a bit of a hard worker, then!?

The scrub itself is dark green in colour and it comes bottled in a white and transparent tube that holds 100ml of product (I have a smaller sized 30ml tube). It also has a nice, earthy type of smell to it.
