Hey guys! I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year! For the first post of 2019, I’m coming with something a bit different, but definitely exciting. Technology advancements are coming along in leaps and bounds right now. This is even noticeable in the beauty industry, including with the product featured in today’s post. 

The Sanyei ION-Sei Electric Toothbrush is a toothbrush for the modern day. It uses ionic "superpowers" to clean the teeth and to provide you with healthier teeth and gums with the use of its patented technology. They say that whilst most electric toothbrushes only remove some of the bacteria and plaque on the teeth, the ION-Sei’s ionic technology suppresses the bacteria that leads to plaque from forming in the first place. 

This works by the use of an Ultra Violet LED light reacting with a bar of Titanium Dioxide placed in the toothbrush head handle to create the ions that remove the bacteria. The negative electrons reach your mouth via water or saliva. A conductor on the handle also works with your body’s natural electrical charge to create a bacterial growth inhibiting charge that draws bacteria onto the brush from the teeth.

The ion cleaning method also means that you can clean your teeth with just water, only using toothpaste if you want to.

Whilst all of that is happening, the toothbrush is vibrating at 31,000 strokes a minute to deep clean your teeth. 

Now that’s pretty amazing sounding, right? 

It comes in two colours: white (called Day White) and a baby blue colour (called Lake Blue). I have the blue shade to show you today.

It is a sleek, lightweight brush that looks great sitting in any bathroom. It also comes packaged with a UK plug and an EU adapter.

Hey guys! It’s nearly Christmas! Recently I’ve covered a great face and eyeshadow palette which is perfect for all your Christmas and New Years parties as well as a winter skin saviour, and today I’m here for those of you with weak, brittle and dry nails. If you need something to strengthen and brighten nails, moisturise nails or help your nails to grow stronger in general, then today’s post is for you. It’s also a fantastic Christmas gift idea for the beauty or nail addict in your life. 

The Perfect Formula Nail Essentials Collection is a set of four of Perfect Formula’s top nail care products. It contains the Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat, Clear Gel Coat, Daily Moisture and My Favourite Top Coat (that’s the name of the product and not me trying to be biased). 

All Perfect Formula products are formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates and TPHP.

The Pink Gel Coat and Clear Gel Coat are both keratin rich formulas that are designed to strengthen and protect the nails, but the Pink Gel Coat is tinted pink and helps to brighten the nails as well. It gives the look of a French manicure.

The Daily Moisture is a jojoba-rich nail and cuticle conditioner that helps to keep the nails and cuticles moisturised and protected as well as helping to strengthen nails over time. My Favourite Top Coat is a top coat for nail polish that dries quickly and promises to ensure a long-lasting and glossy manicure.

They come packaged in a pink and white box and each of the products come in small glass bottles that hold 5ml of product. These are miniature versions and not full-size products, so it’s more of a taster pack than a bundle pack. 

For this post, I have got my mum involved too as she’s a fan of nail strengthening treatments and she has tried a whole bunch of them, so I’ve sent her off to test the Clear Gel Coat whilst I’ve been trying out the Pink Gel Coat, Daily Moisture and My Favourite Top Coat.

JAQUA Caramel Cappuccino Whipped Sugarcream Scrub

The JAQUA Caramel Cappuccino Whipped Sugarcream Scrub is a 98% organic body exfoliator that sloughs off dry skin and highly moisturises at the same time. It is made up of organic coconut oil and organic, fine-grained cane sugar. It can be used in either the shower or bath, as a lip scrub (in very small amounts) or without water for intense hydration. 

The JAQUA Whipped Sugarcream Scrub comes in a range of fragrances to suit your mood, but the one that I have to discuss today is fragranced with Caramel Cappuccino.

It comes packaged in a white, plastic, screw-cap jar with a sticker wrapped around it containing product information. The sticker colour is different for each fragrance. It comes in two sizes, holding either 227g/8oz or 57g/2oz. 

The product itself changes in appearance depending on the storage conditions or even weather. Coconut oil hardens when it is cold and becomes liquid when it is hot.

They’re designed to be a rock style colour palette that features six eyeshadows, a bronzer/shadow, blush/shadow and highlighter/shadow. Hey guys! Christmas is on the way, so that means that we’re going to be not only shopping and attending parties, but a lot of us will be doing a lot of travelling over the festive period. Travelling can be tiring, but sleeping on public transport can also be difficult. On top of that, we all know that enough rest helps our skin to look fresher and true beauty comes from within, so the better we feel, it’s going to show. So with this in mind, today we will be focusing on something slightly different here on the blog in the hopes of helping out with getting the best rest during the most chaotic time of the year.
