Hey guys! Over the last year and a half, we've been living through the Coronavirus pandemic. This has meant that we've had to increase our hand washing amongst a wide range of other precautions and, I don't know about you, but my hands have been getting so dry. I've ended up going through a bunch of different hand washes to find one that doesn't make things worse and today I'm going to be reviewing the Naturally European Freesia & Pear Hand Wash by a brand that I originally wrote about in the early days of the blog; Somerset Toiletry Co..

Somerset Toiletry Co. is a British company that was founded in 1999 with the goal of providing fairly priced, luxury toiletries. The founders, Roger and Sakina Buoy, originally produced body care products for other companies but decided to develop their own range and the company has been acknowledged for a number of awards, including the Queens Award.

The Naturally European range is the most popular range by the brand and the Naturally European Hand Wash is a luxurious, natural hand wash that is cruelty free and suitable for vegans. It is also SLS and paraben free, making it suitable for those with more sensitive skin (yay!). It comes in a range of scents, but I've only been testing out the Freesia & Pear fragrance.

It comes packaged in a clear, plastic bottle with a black pump lid and it holds 500ml of product. The Hand Wash itself is clear in colour.

Usage and Results:

I don't know how much hand wash you tend to use when you wash your hands, but you definitely won't be needing to use lots with this one. This stuff foams up so easily! You can use just a small amount and it creates so much lather meaning that a bottle is going to LAST. It's easily one of my favourite things about it which is why I wanted to start off by mentioning it.

The fragrance of the Naturally European Freesia & Pear Hand Wash is actually really subtle, but beautiful. You can smell it whilst washing your hands, but not so much on the skin afterwards. It's floral and delicate and very spring-summer time.

Another amazing thing about this Hand Wash though? It doesn't dry out the hands! Since using it I haven't had any dry hand issues and it has been a huge relief. If this is something that you've been struggling with over the last year and a half in particular, I definitely recommend looking into this one. It doesn't add any extra moisture to the skin, but it doesn't strip it either.

If Freesia & Pear isn't your thing, there are many other scents to choose from. If you also like to follow up with a hand cream for that extra moisture hit then each fragrance also has an accompanying Hand Cream. There are also Hand Wash and Hand Cream sets and gift boxes of varying scents available for purchase too along with an entire bodycare range and home fragrance collection. As an extra help, Somerset Toiletry Co. have also recently posted an article about hand care, so if it's something you'd like to look into more then I recommend checking it out for more info.

And there we have it! I'm a big fan of this one and I would even say that it is one of the best hand washes that I've tried to date. I think that the bottle is fantastic value for money as you need such a small amount and therefore it will last longer than other washes. I also really like the range of scents that are available which means you could easily mix and match over the seasons or to suit your mood or home style.

If you'd like to get yourself a bottle of the Naturally European Freesia & Pear Hand Wash then you can find it at Amazon and Somerset Toiletry Co.

What are your thoughts on the Naturally European Freesia & Pear Hand Wash? Which scent of the range appeals to you most?
