InstaNatural Stretch Mark & Scar Cream review

*
Stretch marks - we all have them! Whether you loathe them or tolerate them, some people want to get rid of them for good. Whilst removing them would cost a lot in money and time in laser removal or surgical removal, some people are content with simply reducing their appearance with lotions and potions. Enter: InstaNatural.

InstaNatural’s Stretch Mark and Scar cream is an all natural, powerful cream that helps to reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

It contains aloe vera, Vitamin C, Rosehip Oil, Cocoa Butter, Evening Primrose Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Vitamin E and Mango Butter amongst other essential oils and other ingredients.

It comes in a white, screw cap pot that has a green label around the centre with the product information and that holds 120ml of product. The cream itself has the consistency of and looks a little like yoghurt. It also has a nice smell to it that lasts throughout the day (the ingredients label it as “Tranquil Sea Fragrance” - oooerr!).

Temporary Changes/Pregnancy Update

Hello everybody!

Today is another post to explain some temporary changes on the blog for a short while.

If you are a regular reader, you will most likely be aware that I’m currently expecting my second child. It seems crazy, but my due date is now within the next few weeks! It feels like only yesterday I was updating you all on the discovery of the news and my horrific sickness which was causing issues with my blogging!

As my little man arrived early and because I'm very close to the end with this pregnancy, I am now under orders to cut back my workloads. This unfortunately means that posts will be a little less frequent for a while.

I won’t be cutting out the posts entirely, but at some points they may be reduced to one a week. In fact it may be a tad sporadic until I can get used to “cutting back,” but I just wanted to keep you all in the loop about what is happening in regards to Beautifinous.

I assure you all that I am not going anywhere and eventually the blog will be back on track, but until that time comes I hope that you all understand the situation.

Thanks a lot for all of the views and support! The blog is going strong because of you!

Neal's Yard Remedies Mothers Balm review

Neal’s Yard Remedies Mothers Balm is a fragrance-free moisturising bump butter made with 100% organic ingredients for your expanding baby bump. It is rich in fatty acids and it claims to help with the skin’s elasticity, helping to soothe the discomfort of your stretching skin and to help prevent stretch marks.

It doesn't contain parabens, synthetic fragrance, silicones, mineral oils, phthlates or any other bad bits, and they also do not test on animals.

The Beautifinous Safe Pregnancy Skincare/Beauty Guide!

When you discover that you are pregnant, it is natural to start asking questions about what we apply to our skin and whether or not they are safe for your unborn baby.

You probably have found yourself searching the Internet for answers, but usually there are different pages discussing different topics. I’ve been there, so I get it. Lots of different pages for lots of different topics can get a little annoying to keep track of. On top of that, during your pregnancy people will always be letting you know tidbits of information about this, that and the other and sometimes they conflict with each other.

For example, I was told by some people that hair dying during pregnancy isn’t allowed. Others tell me that it’s fine. This product isn’t safe some will say, others will tell you the opposite. Let’s be honest, it can be overwhelming to have such a wealth of information continuously being fed to you - especially when so much of it contradicts each other! On top of that, you have far more important things to be focusing on right now - that child inside of your tummy for one.

Because of this, I have tried my very best to do the hard work for you. I have spent a lot of time searching around for information regarding all varieties of skincare and beauty that may be of concern during pregnancy. I’ve tried to cover both sides of the arguments that exist and used lots of sources of information - all of which are linked for further reading if you want to find out more.
