Hey guys! It's been a little while since I reviewed some false lashes, but today I will be sharing two pairs of false eyelashes with you from the brand Yazmae Cosmetics.

Yazmae Cosmetics provide a range of luxury, false mink and silk lashes, Eyelash Serum for lengthening the lashes (review coming soon!) and lash glue. They also offer a generous makeup artist discount of 65%.

I have two pairs of Yazmae Cosmetics luxury 3D mink lashes to show you from their collection in the styles London and Dubai. Each of the pairs comes with adhesive in the box and they can be re-used up to 20 times.

Upon first glance, both the London and Dubai lashes do look quite similar. They are both big, wispy and fluffy, 3D and have black bands, but London has more of an extreme criss-cross and they are more feathery whereas the Dubai lashes have less of an intense criss-cross and are more spiky whilst still being fluttery.

They come packaged in your standard lash case with the lashes attached to the plastic and then the case is covered by a sleeve on one side that contains the brand name.

I’ll begin by talking about things that relate to both sets of lashes, then I’ll split off and discuss each pair individually with some before and after photos of how they look. Before applying them, I applied some eyeshadow (I’ll be reviewing said eyeshadow for my next post - keep your eyes peeled!) and a simple line of liquid eyeliner on the top of the lid and black pencil liner on the waterlines. No wings or bold lines, just liner on the lid to disguise the band and the waterline to create the appearance of a thicker lash base. For contrast, I also took some photos without any eyeliner.

First thing I feel to note - watch out when you take the lashes from the black sleeve! The adhesive is loose inside and if you remove the case downwards (black sleeve facing upwards) then it’s going to fall out. Take them out with the black sleeve facing downwards and pull the lash case upward.

When removing them from the plastic, you can tell that they're strong lashes - they don't feel flimsy at all. With that said though, it's best to give them a gentle bend before trying to apply just to add a bit of flexibility so that they're not fiddly to work with.

Both sets of lashes were rather long in length, so I had to trim quite a bit off to fit my eyes. I actually had to cut so much off that I thought I was trimming them too small but it all turned out okay thankfully. Both pairs had a little excess band in the inner corners too, so if you prefer to cut those parts off then that's easy enough to do but down to your own preference (I personally like to do that as I have small, sensitive eyes that can get poked by the band otherwise!).

I struggled a bit with the adhesive glue that was provided. The edges wouldn’t stick down and therefore I had to keep going in to get them to stay. However, I don't think it is necessarily the glue itself that was the problem. The adhesive is contained in a small bottle that was added within the box. The bottle is like one of those dip stick perfume testers, and I had issues with getting enough glue on the little stick to then spread decently across the lash quickly enough. This meant that the glue was in different stages of drying when trying to apply and I feel that this was the issue at getting them to stay. Therefore I would probably recommend buying yourself some of the full-size adhesive when purchasing if you don't have some to hand already.

Now to get into the lashes individually! I'll start off with Dubai and then take a look at London.

Out of the two pairs, I found Dubai to be easier to work with. I'm not sure why that is specifically, but I just found them easier to apply and more lightweight when on despite the fact that the styles are so similar.

Neither of the styles are super laidback and casual and would definitely lend themselves to a killer eye look more than your day to day wear (but if a killer eye look is your day to day wear then go out and rock 'em!), but out of the two, Dubai is the more casual looking set. I don't think everyone would be able to pull them off for day to day wear (such as myself), but those who can (such as the model on the website - they look beautiful on her and she's wearing a simple day time look) could get a lot of wear out of these.

These lashes took me longer to apply than the Dubai set did. The band just didn't seem as flexible as the Dubai lashes and along with the glue issue mentioned above it just took me longer overall to get them how I wanted them. When on they look fantastic, but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

These were a little heavier on the eye lids but not uncomfortable. If you don't wear false lashes often it may take a bit of getting used to but if you wear them often enough you should be fine.

I love the feathery look of these lashes. They're fun, they're flirty and fluttery - what's not to love?!

And there we have it!

Overall I really love both pairs of lashes and I can see myself getting some wear out of them when heading out for dinner and such. They're great quality and are affordable - always a brilliant combo.

From the rest of their range, I particularly love the look of a couple of pairs of their silk lashes; Monaco and New York. They're less feathery and fluttery and more natural (Monaco) and spiky (New York) which is a style I love.
