Everlasting Brows Highlighter and Concealer Duo review

- This post contains gifted products and affiliate links. -

Hi guys! If you're a long time follower of the blog, then you will likely know that I love a good multitasking product. That's why today, I am excited to share another one with you: the Everlasting Brows Highlighter and Concealer Duo.

The Highlighter and Concealer Duo is a double ended pencil that on one side contains a creamy concealer and the other side contains a golden shimmer highlighter. The concealer comes in two shades (light and medium), but the highlighter is the same on both shades.

The concealer can be used as a corrector and concealer, useful for imperfections, under the eyes and around the eyebrows to tidy. The highlighter is perfect for use under the eyebrows, cheek bones, the inner eye area and cupids bow above your top lip.

The pencil itself is a mint green in colour with clear, plastic lids on either end to cover the concealer and highlighter. It's quite a thick, chunky pencil, around the size of similar products from other brands (such as Benefit's High Brow).

Ellis Faas Concealer review

Hi all! If you follow me on Instagram then you may be aware that I recently went away to the Netherlands. Because of that, I thought now was probably the best time to review a product from a Dutch brand that was created by a world-class makeup artist, Ellis Faas.

The Ellis Faas Concealer is a twist bottom, brush applicator, high-coverage liquid concealer pen. It promises a flawless finish, and additionally the Ellis Faas Concealer also includes a blend of Vitamins C & E, Rice Wax and Karite Oil to hydrate and nourish the skin whilst also protecting against free radical damage. It also helps to regenerate the skin and banish the signs of ageing.

Ellis Faas only creates cruelty-free products that are “only tested on supermodels”, and they are PETA verified.

It comes in a range of 8 shades ranging from porcelain to dark. The packaging is really sleek and looks almost bullet-like. It’s one of those products that look genuinely great sitting in your collection. It also fits in the Ellis Faas Holder which is designed to keep your Ellis Faas products nice and organised.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer review

As I’ve brought up before on the blog, if you were to only be able to wear one type of makeup at a time, what would you choose? My personal first thought when being asked this question is concealer. Ever since I started wearing makeup, a good concealer has been a necessity in my life.

Today I’m reviewing MAC’s Studio Finish Concealer, a product that claims to be “lightweight, creamy [and] discreetly opaque”. It provides long-lasting coverage that is supposed to be able to cover everything form dark circles and blemishes to tattoos and it is also water-resistant, non-comedogenic and fragrance free.

In addition, it also contains antioxidants, Silica to absorb the skins oils and SPF 35 to protect from the sun.

MAC say that this concealer is so concentrated that you only need a tiny amount to cover whatever you need to cover.

It comes packaged in a small, round and typically MAC, sleek, black pot with a transparent piece of plastic in the lid to see the concealer inside.

The Max Factor Colour Corrector Sticks are handy little pens to help correct different flaws. From redness to undereye circles, there is a pen for everything.

There are five shades in total.

Here is a guide as to which colour corrects what issue:

Green: The reducer - to combat redness

Pink: The balancer - to help reduce the look of dark spots on lighter skin tones
Yellow: The brightener - to help reduce the look of dark circles/purple undertones
Peach: The illuminator - to highlight
